FAMILY TRADITIONS
As 2009 comes to a close, we have enjoyed sharing some of our favorite family traditions at this time of year....

GM - We do yummy chocolate advent calendars!
SH - We go to Canada!
JM - Lighting the middle candle and giving presents to my brothers!
GS - We bake cookies for others and sing carols on Christmas Eve!
BL - We make cookies all the time!
RH - We make 100 pumpkin loaves for all our neighbors and friends!  We also go to people's houses, leave a gift, and run!
JBa - We like going to get the Christmas tree!  Our dad cuts it down!

CW - We get the Christmas tree and put the ornaments up!
KC - I go to Colorado, make cookies, and go skiing too!
AC - We pick out our Christmas tree at Stew Leonards!
JW - We do our Christmas tree and put our stockings up!
HP - We like putting the ornaments on our tree!
JBr - We put the ornaments on the tree!
MD - In Poland, Santa comes on the evening of December 24th when the first star appears in the sky!  That is when kids open presents!
JK - We ask Santa what we would like for Christmas!
TB - We bake cookies and decorate the Christmas tree!
OS - We give presents on Christmas Day!
JL - We sing Christmas carols!
AP - We come upstairs to give our father breakfast on Santa Lucia Day!

MATH REFLECTIONS FOR THIS MONTH

We skip counted by twos, threes, and fives!
Then we skip counted by tens - and even started with numbers that didn't end in zero - pretty tricky stuff!
Try this Math Dojo game!
